Being a primary school teacher, Tom sees the challenges we face on a daily basis. He has volunteered and raised a substantial amount of money for a local food bank and has performed in productions put on by the Bocking Theatre Group. During the pandemic, Tom taught the children about key workers, delivered food parcels and set up an online support group.
Tom has also written for the Huffington Post, appeared on Radio 4’s Today Programme, is a teaching union representative, and has ran a successful living wage campaign.
